How to Report Electronically

Windows Users:

There are three Options for electronically reporting your PRL information.

Option A does not require any special software, and is the option recommended for most users.

Option B is a spreadsheet-based application.

Options A and B will load PRL Annual Reports on your computer.

Option C does not provide a data entry interface. It is used to validate ASCII files created by third-party software.

Macintosh Users:

Mac-compatible versions of Spreadsheet eForms are available here.

These Annual Reports have features that allow for their easy use:

• All options allow you to submit the report to us via the Internet.
• Option A (PRL eForms) provides a validation feature for checking your data prior to submitting your report.
• Options A and B (Spreadsheet eForms) provide the ability to cut and paste data to and from other programs.
• Options A and B have drop down and pop-up lists for easier data entry.
• All options have the ability to store up to 20 EPA registration numbers within the programs for easy access.
• All options have a “Change Year” button.
• All options have “Copy Row” and “Delete Row” functions.
• In Option A and Option B, The Applicators / Technician Pesticide Annual Report (26E) has 4 extra record keeping columns to the right of the PRL column:
  • Dosage Rate
  • Method of Application
  • Target Organism
  • Place of Application
  
  This information is for your record keeping requirements under 6 NYCRR 325. If you already keep these records in your own format, you do not need to complete these columns.

Download PRL Electronic Filing Options

Option A—PRL eForms    This is our most popular option. No additional software is required. (Updated January 28, 2010)

Option B—Spreadsheet eForms    This option requires spreadsheet software. (Updated January 28, 2010)

Option C—ASCII text file specifications and data validator    This option allows a user to create ASCII text files (using any program you own that produces suitable standard ASCII text files). It also contains an ASCII text file validator. (Updated January 28, 2010)
